American Trucking Association President to Discuss Climate Change, Highway Safety Campaign, Economy

WHAT:
American Trucking Associations (ATA) President and former Kansas Governor Bill Graves will discuss the trucking industry’s environmental and safety initiatives and the essential role that trucking plays in the U.S. economy with business leaders at an event hosted by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. The presentation will highlight the trucking industry’s efforts to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and combat global climate change. Also on the agenda is a discussion of ATA’s highway safety agenda designed to further reduce the number of highway-related fatalities and injuries for all drivers on the nation’s highways.
