L.A. Area Chamber Statement on Disney and ABC Studios at The Ranch High-Tech Soundstage and Movie Production Facility Project

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce applauds the announcement of the Disney and ABC Studios at The Ranch, a state-of-the-art production facility for motion picture, television and commercial productions.
“Disney and ABC Studios at The Ranch is exactly the kind of investment that our region needs to keep film production jobs in Los Angeles and Southern California,” said Gary Toebben, President & CEO, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
Disney and ABC at The Ranch will stimulate local and regional economies with 3,152 new construction jobs and $522 million in direct economic activity throughout Los Angeles County. Once built, the project will produce 2,854 full- and part-time jobs and $533 million in annual economic activity throughout Los Angeles County. It will also generate $26 million in new annual tax revenues to the state of California and $1.3 million in new annual revenues to Los Angeles County.
