Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Statement on Schwarzenegger's Pick for Lieutenant Governor

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce applauds Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for his selection of Senator Abel Maldonado (R-Santa Maria) to serve as California’s next Lieutenant Governor.
“The Governor has picked an experienced state legislator and savvy businessman to fill this seat,” said Gary Toebben, President & CEO, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. “Senator Maldonado has proven his commitment to reforming state government and will be an asset as Lieutenant Governor.”
As a member of the state Senate and state Assembly, Maldonado has a reputation for moving beyond partisan politics to work with members of the legislature from both political parties. The L.A.
