LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce applaud Governor Brown on his plan to reform California's public employee pensions system.

“We congratulate the Governor on his public pension reform plan, which will contribute to ending system-wide abuses and reduce taxpayer costs,” said L.A. Area Chamber President & CEO Gary Toebben.  “The unsustainable and unfunded pension obligations jeopardize the future of California and its citizens, and this plan is a bold move toward putting our state back on solid financial ground.”
