LOS ANGELES, CA — The L.A. Jobs Political Action Committee (PAC), sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, announced its endorsement today of Bobby Shriver for Los Angeles County Supervisor.
“Bobby has a background in business and finance and has the ability and desire to address the challenges facing County government,” said L.A. Area Chamber President & CEO Gary Toebben. “As is an entrepreneur and co-founder of several global organizations, Bobby knows the difficulties of making a business thrive and the importance of job creation and growing our local economy in meeting the needs of our communities.” Bobby Shriver co-founded (RED) an organization that partners with the private sector and has raised over $240 million to fight poverty and disease.
“The L.A. JOBS PAC believes that Bobby will keep the County on the fiscally responsible track that has made it unique among governments in the region. We are also confident he will be a true partner with the business community in building our transportation infrastructure and ensuring an effective county health system.” Toebben said.
