“We applaud Superintendent Torlakson on his appointments of Glen Price and Michelle Zumot as co-chief deputies of the California Department of Education,” said David Rattray, executive vice president, Education & Workforce Development, L.A. “Tom conducted a careful and exhaustive nationwide search, and I am confident in his selection of these two proven leaders. Individually they possess the experience, talent and dedication needed to lead this department, but the combination of the complimentary strengths really is the best of both worlds.” Rattray continued.
