Los Angeles (APR. 8, 2020) – Today, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, shared a statement from President & CEO, Maria S. Salinas. “I’d like to commend and thank Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti for providing a balanced and prudent approach to bring benefits to workers in a time where their employers are struggling to survive the current COVID-19 crisis.”
“His Executive Order amending the Paid Sick Leave Ordinance which was previously adopted by the Los Angeles City Council in March, will now include amendments and exemptions that will help businesses stabilize and adapt during this unprecedented crisis.
