L.A. AREA CHAMBER RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN ACCREDITATION

LOS ANGELES, CA – May , 2021 – The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce (LAACC) was accepted into the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Federation (WCF) International Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain.
Accreditation demonstrates that the Chamber’s Certificate of Origin (CO) documentation services meet the highest international standards. Through its strong partnership with Swiftdox, a revolutionary online platform, the L.A. Area Chamber provides exporters expedited and fully digital export documentation with block chain verification.
“We’re beyond pleased that the Chamber was accepted into the ICC World Chambers Federation International Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain,” Said Maria S. Salinas, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
Starting June 1, Chamber-issued Certificates of Origin will feature the ICC international quality label to demonstrate the Chamber’s integrity and credibility as a trusted agency in the issuance of COs.
“Joining this accreditation chain is part of the Chamber’s effort to provide the highest level of international best practices for exporters and freight forwarders in the region. The L.A. Area Chamber is the first Chamber on the west coast and the second in the United States to ever be accepted into this program, making us one of the most credible export documentation resources,” Salinas said.
Exporters and freight forwarders who secure an LAACC chamber stamp on their export documentation will be assured that it is recognized around the world for its quality and integrity because acceptance into this chain is issued according to the “gold standard” of globally accepted best practice.
