L.A. AREA CHAMBER APPLAUDS GOVERNOR’S ACTION ON HISTORIC EDUCATION BILLS


California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a series of bills into law today which provide billions of investment in our students to provide greater access to the state’s higher education systems.

 

“We applaud the Governor for recognizing the importance of access to higher education,” said President and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Maria S. Salinas. “It is imperative that we invest in our future, and that future is with our students. With these unprecedented investments into our state’s education, California and the L.A. region will be prepared with a highly skilled workforce ready to tackle the jobs of tomorrow.”
