L.A. AREA CHAMBER TRAVELS TO STATE CAPITAL FOR ACCESS SACRAMENTO ADVOCACY TRIP

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 19, 2021 – The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce is travelling to Sacramento for its annual ACCESS Sacramento advocacy trip. The Chamber aims to promote policies that will strengthen industries and drive both job creation and regional economic prosperity for all. The ACCESS Sacramento Series provides a platform for the L.A. Area Chamber to advocate for the policy issues it is championing at the state level.

Through a series of keynote sessions and panel discussions, members will have the opportunity to connect with elected officials, share their stories and business knowledge, and shape policy.

L.A. Area Chamber President and CEO Maria S. Salinas said, “Good governance is derived through good communication, and Access Sacramento provides leaders from a variety of sectors in the Los Angeles region an opportunity to have a seat at the table to ensure that policy is developed that works for the Los Angeles regional community. It’s our collective voice as a delegation – as a united Chamber – that makes this event impactful, regional solutions obtainable, and economic growth achievable.”

ACCESS Sacramento’s presenting sponsor is the Southern California Gas Company. “SoCalGas is excited to join the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and L.A. business leaders for the visit to Sacramento”, said Erin Smith, SoCalGas Chief Talent and Culture Officer and L.A. Area Chamber Board member. “We look forward to a constructive dialogue with state and local leaders on the most pressing issues impacting our region and partnering to advance solutions for a thriving economy.”
