| BOARD MEETING RECAP |
2026 Board Chair Andy Park welcomed the Board and shared his excitement for the year. He began the meeting by welcoming nine new members to the Chamber Board. Please join me in extending a warm welcome:
Adam Burke, President & CEO of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, shared exciting updates about the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the economic opportunities the games will bring to the Los Angeles region. He also highlighted a range of engaging activations designed to help small businesses participate and benefit from the event. View the presentation.
The Deloitte team gave the Board a preview of the Rally LA, an initiative to help support small businesses, set to formally launch early summer. We are excited to work with Deloitte as this initiative rolls out.
Government & Fiscal Affairs Policy Council Chair Phil Recht presented the Chamber’s recommended position on ballot measures for the June primary. See the link for the Chamber’s analysis and for more information, reach out to Carlos Singer.

- At the Board Meeting, Chief Policy Officer Carlos Singer reviewed several important policy topics:
- Measure ULA Modification (City of Los Angeles)
- Charter Reform (City of Los Angeles)
- Office of Wage Standards (City of Los Angeles)
- Antitrust Legislation (California State Legislature)

| L.A. JOBS PAC |
To date, the L.A. Jobs PAC has endorsed several candidates in the County and City of Los Angeles. Last week, the business PACs in the Los Angeles area—including CCA, BizFed, VICA, Hollywood Chamber, and BOMA LA—held a joint press conference to endorse Mayor Karen Bass. Thank you to the Board members who joined us at the event.
