| HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK |
- The U.S. Chamber celebrated its 114th anniversary last week. The Los Angeles Area Chamber is one of four founding members of the U.S. Chamber. I was invited to provide remarks at their staff retreat to over 300 U.S. Chamber staff members.
- Thank you to our member, YWCA, and CEO Lori Carmona for recognizing me at their YHER Summit. It was great to see several members supporting the work of the YWCA.

- Recently, I attended Supervisor Lindsey Horvath's Business Leaders Roundtable discussion, where Supervisor Horvath and Sarah Mahin, the new Director of the County’s new Department of Homeless Services and Housing, spoke. Sarah provided an overview of the new department and the breakdown of the Measure A funding. Director Mahin will join the Chamber for our next Pancakes & Politics session on Tuesday, June 23.
- The Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission has provided an opportunity for the Chamber to purchase tickets to FIFA World Cup games. If you are interested, please reach out to Martin Breidsprecher.
