HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK
  • Thank you to everyone who attended the Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall event, featuring a compelling discussion with Chevron Board Chair and CEO Mike Wirth, moderated by former SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet. This successful event, co-hosted by the Chamber and LAEDC, offered profound insights and fostered meaningful dialogue.
  • I had the pleasure of joining Consul General Kenko Sone of Japan and Consul General Carlos González Gutiérrez of Mexico for a planning luncheon to coordinate collaboration efforts. It was a valuable opportunity to continue strengthening ties with the Consular Corps in Los Angeles.
  • I was pleased to represent the Chamber at Mayor Bass' celebration of the Olympic and Paralympic flag installation at City Hall. The event, themed "Games For All," marked an exciting new chapter in Olympic history. Congratulations to Board member Renata Simril for her role in helping to organize such a memorable event.
