Tax Relief for LA County Wildfire Victims

If your home or business in Los Angeles County was impacted by the wildfires that began on January 7, you could be eligible for extended tax-filing and payment deadlines. The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) has postponed due dates for many filings until October 15, 2025, including 2024 individual returns, partnership/LLC/S-corps returns, corporate/fiduciary returns, tax-exempt organization returns, and estimated tax payments. Be sure to mark your returns with “Los Angeles County Fire” to make use of the relief. For more info or assistance, contact FTB via phone at 888-825-9868 or email here.
