The Chamber announced this week that it will be coordinating with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office to form a delegation charged with promoting California in South Korea during a fall trade mission to Asia. Gov. Schwarzenegger’s trade mission — which includes stops in China, Japan and Korea — will be used to promote California, bolster trade relations and encourage investment and with the exception of security costs, will come at zero cost to California taxpayers. "The Chamber is honored to be working with Gov. Schwarzenegger to expand international trade and investment opportunities for our state," said Chamber President & CEO Gary Toebben. "Our focus will be on further exploring high-speed rail, promoting exports and travel and tourism, which will benefit all Californians." Read more.
