Overheard

"The defeat of Measure B wasn’t the defeat of solar power, it was the defeat of the process itself. We’ve learned from our mistake, and realize that solar energy is a very significant part of our future. Out of chaos comes opportunity, and we don’t want to blow this a second time."

- L.A. City Councilmember Jan Perry Tuesday at the Chamber's Energy, Water & Environment Committee meeting.
