Due to procedural irregularities, the City Council is required to vote on the matter again next week. The Chamber will continue to monitor the impacts of this action closely. Read our statement here.

This adjustment is expected to prompt many shippers to resume exports previously stalled by the steep tariffs. Given the impact on the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the Chamber will continue to monitor these shifts and advocate for stability and clarity in trade regulations.
