Los Angeles County Climate Action Plan
The L.A. County Planning Department (L.A. CAP) released its revised draft of the 2045 Los Angeles County Climate Action Plan earlier this year. L.A. CAP is the county's plan to meet the goals of both the Paris Agreement and carbon neutrality for the unincorporated areas of the county. Items proposed in the Draft CAP appear to directly conflict with other significant county priorities and many required actions are not currently feasible to implement. The Chamber and the business community are engaged and will continue to advocate for state and local climate measures which can be feasibly implemented. You can read the revised draft of the 2045 CAP here. |
