How L.A. Is Preparing Transportation and Mobility for the 2028 Games
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) delivered an update on the status of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games Transportation Plan to the Los Angeles City Council Transportation Committee on Wednesday. LADOT shared updates on First Last Mile, mobility and safety projects, and preparedness for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Games. LADOT is releasing a comprehensive report detailing workstreams the Department is leading to prepare for the Games and workstreams in partnership with Caltrans and LA Metro.

This week, the Chamber's Health Care Policy Council convened to hear presentations from Matt Insco, Branch Chief of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, on the projected developments in the healthcare workforce, and also heard from Dr. Nina Park, Chief Deputy Director of Los Angeles County Bureau of Health Services, on the anticipated impacts of H.R.1 on local health services.
