Chamber celebrates energy and water innovation at 5th Annual Innovation Awards

The Chamber joined the Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge for the 5th Annual Innovation Awards at The California Endowment to recognize the leadership of property owners who have achieved exceptional energy and water performance. The event honored David Jacot, director of efficiency solutions at LADWP, as Innovator of the Year for his role growing the organization’s efficiency targets and budget. Additional award recipients included NBCUniversal for Energy Efficiency Project of the Year; Westin Bonaventure for Water Efficiency Project of the Year; Brookfield Property Partners for Portfolio of the Year; Walk the Walk Energy Award recipient Los Angeles Convention Center; Walk the Walk Water Award recipient Los Angeles County; and Walk the Walk Portfolio Award recipient Los Angeles Unified School District.
