Women At the Table: A Dialogue On Getting More Women Onto Corporate Board Seats

Last year, California became the first state to require that publicly traded companies located here have at least one woman on their board by the end of 2019. Members had the opportunity to learn what it takes to set themselves on a path toward a corporate board seat.

"What we're really seeing is that the organizations that are thriving have a really diverse board, partly because, as the data says, the more you can get a lot of different perspectives around the table, the better decisions you're going to make," said Regina Birdsell, president and CEO of the Center for Nonprofit Management.
