Chamber supports HPIAM Community Health Fair

The Chamber supported the students of the Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine (HPIAM) as they hosted their 4th Annual Community Health Fair on Saturday morning. This fair was free, open to the public and accessible for the many communities of South East L.A., including Huntington Park.  The annual health fair provides quality health care education and services that address leading community health care issues. This year it drew more than 500 community members of all ages and backgrounds. A multitude of health care organizations supported this event by providing free vision screenings, dental screenings, safety kits and information addressing respiratory care, diabetes, cancer, obesity, geriatric care, heart disease and more. Thank you to AltaMed, St. Francis Medical Center, Community Hospital of Huntington Park, West Coast University and UCLA Vision for supporting the fair. SEE THE PHOTOS.
