Chamber's World Trade Week initiative recognized by County Supervisor Kathryn Barger

This week, the Chamber was presented with a Certificate of Recognition by County Supervisor Kathryn Barger at the L.A. County Board of Supervisor's meeting for its annual World Trade Week (WTW) Southern California initiative and the program's dedication to promoting the positive aspects of international trade that are vital to a strong local and national economy for the past 93 years. The award was received by 2019 WTW Chair Vince Iacopella, executive vice president of growth & strategy, Alba Wheels Up International Inc.

WTW is observed with numerous events taking place in Southern California throughout the month of May. The celebration is kicked off by the Chamber's annual WTW Kickoff Breakfast, which supports college and high school scholarships, and promotes civic and business engagement by highlighting the positive aspects of international trade that are vital  to the global economy.
