The Los Angeles Regional Export Council (LARExC) joined the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Los Angeles, the China Chamber for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (CCCME) and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) in organizing and sponsoring the 2019 China-California Business Forum. The annual event welcomed more than 500 business executives, including 160 Chinese business executives and trade officials. The forum provided the opportunity to network, conduct exports, imports and foreign investment transactions. The cleantech, advanced manufacturing, e-commerce and innovation cooperation panel discussions, along with the plenary sessions, were instrumental in developing business and investment opportunities between Chinese and regional business leaders. Keynote speakers included California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and Weimin Ouyang, vice governor of Guangdong Province. LARExC is an affiliate program of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
