Chamber and First 5 LA produce new landscape analysis

In partnership with First 5 LA, the Chamber has produced a landscape analysis on Promoting Family-Friendly Workplace Policies and Practices. As a part of the Chamber’s advocacy efforts to engage businesses on establishing better work-life harmony policies, the analysis digs deep into employee benefits that increase productivity and minimize stress. Such benefits include access to child care, wellness programs, flexible hours, lactation-friendly workplaces and more. The analysis provides ways in which businesses can actively participate on this issue by advocating for family-friendly policies in their companies and various levels of government and investing in research on best practices.
Related to the report, the Chamber recently honored AT&T with the 2018 Excellence in Work-Life Harmony Award at BIZCON SoCal 2019 for the company’s proven dedication to supporting its employees and their families.
