On Tuesday, Bixel Exchange's L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline kicked off the summer internship season with an orientation and luncheon for new interns and their respective companies. Program coordinator Jaideep Upadhyay led the orientation, presenting a detailed overview of how Bixel Exchange's internship program works with the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti and the mayor's HIRE LA's Youth initiative. Alec Green, chief marketing evangelist, Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation, also joined the event to unveil WorkForceReady, a free program offering online courses for students to develop the non-technical skills required to be successful in today’s work environment. As part of a new partnership with Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation, Bixel Exchange will be piloting WorkforceReady with their 2019 summer interns, with the goal of rolling out the program to all L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline participants in the future. SEE THE PHOTOS.
