Chambers celebrate 60 years of partnership

The L.A. Area Chamber and the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 60th anniversary since the original signing of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 1959. The L.A. Area Chamber is proud to be the only business organization in the United States to have this professional working relationship with one of the largest chambers of commerce in Japan. Ado Yamamoto, chair of the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce, led a delegation of 28 prominent business executives to visit L.A. Yamamoto also serves as chairman of the Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd., vice chairman of the Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and counselor of the Bank of Japan. The City of Los Angeles and the Port of Los Angeles share a sister city/port relationship with their counterparts in Nagoya. SEE THE PHOTOS.
