Chamber joins discussion on hiring and retaining talented employees with disabilities

In partnership with the Chamber and the L.A. City Department on Disability, RespectAbility’s California team held a panel discussion at the Chamber, titled "Disability, Creativity and Employment." The convening featured insights and expertise on how to recruit, hire and retain talented employees with disabilities. Speakers included Vincenzo Piscopo, community and stakeholder relations at Coca-Cola North America; Matan Koch, RespectAbility’s senior advisor for policy and inclusion; John Dunn, assistant secretary of labor for apprenticeship & worker training, California Labor and Workforce Development Agency; and Joe Xavier, director of the California Department of Rehabilitation. The discussion was moderated by Tatiana Lee, actress, model and Hollywood inclusionist at RespectAbility.
This event is one of many ways the Center for Education Excellence & Talent Development will be working with RespectAbility to develop and connect people with disabilities to workforce development and employment opportunities. LEARN MORE.
