The Chamber's Small Business Council met on Dec. 11 to discuss "What Businesses Need to Know for 2020." Presentations were given by David Rattray, UNITE-LA, and Xiomara Peña, Small Business Majority, on the new Paid Family Leave policy. Jonathan Herrera from the California State Treasurer's Office also presented on the new CalSavers Retirement Program, while Maria de la Luz Garcia from the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti and Magali Flores Núñez from ReadyNation discussed the impact of the 2020 Census and how to take action.
