New Business Incentives for 2020

The Chamber's Small Business Council convened business owners and business associations on Feb. 25 to discuss new business incentives and tax credits for the upcoming year. Presenting guests included Jennings Imel from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Caroline Torosis from the L.A. County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services, who introduced a new senate bill by State Senator Maria Elena Durazo, SB 1333. SB 1333 is a Homeless Hiring Tax Credit that will credit businesses between $2,500 and $10,000 per qualified homeless individual hired.
