Chamber Celebrates Black History Month

On Wednesday, the L.A. Area Chamber celebrated Black History Month by hosting a reception honoring the contributions of the African-American community with 2020 Board Chair Denita Willoughby. Willoughby shared her vision as new Board Chair and her goals working with the Chamber to address the homelessness crisis. Willoughby, who serves as Vice President of Supply Management and Support Services for SoCalGas, is the first African-American woman to chair the Chamber since its inception in 1888. Board Vice Chair Raul Anaya, Bank of America, also spoke at the event, which featured nearly 50 attendees. SEE THE PHOTOS.
