Resilience and Optimism

As the holidays approach, we hope that you enjoy the season in good health, and with family and friends. In our preparations for 2022, I can’t help but reflect on the last year as one of the most eventful periods of our lifetime. But through the darkness brought on by the pandemic, we saw the light through the resilience of our community as we came together in the spirit of collaboration for the common good. As we continue working in concert with everyone in our community, we remain optimistic about our future.

We are grateful to our members and businesses, large and small, who continuously demonstrate that business is a force for good. Through their creativity and innovation, jobs were created, which supported families and strengthened communities. The Chamber embraces this notion of business being a force for good, and through our public policy work, our programming, and initiatives like The CEO Council, we know we will make a difference as we emerge from the pandemic. Our work is not done and we may have great challenges yet to address, but we look forward to continuing on that path in the year ahead.

As we spend time with our friends and family this holiday season, it reminds us for whom we are uplifting our region. As we work to make the Chamber’s vision of A Thriving Region for All a reality, may you and your family be filled with generosity, and the true spirit of the holiday season.
