Pat Clark serves as the Vice President of Membership of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, the largest business advocacy organization in the Los Angeles area with more than 1,600 member companies.
Clark began her tenure at the Chamber in 1980 and was promoted to her current position in 2000. As director, she is responsible for assuring all revenue goals relative to the Chamber’s membership are achieved. In 2008, membership revenue surpassed $1.8 million. In addition, Clark manages all Chamber Circle Level memberships, companies that invest a minimum $1,500 in the organization.
Clark oversees a variety of membership programs, including the Chamber’s Business After Hours Mixers, new member receptions, member orientations, ribbon cuttings and the Chamber’s small business programs. She works closely with members to keep them informed of Chamber programs and services and ensure that they find value in their membership investment. She also staffs the Chamber Ambassador programs and manages the Chamber’s extensive database system.
Clark is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) and served on the Board of the Southern California Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (SCACCE), which in 2013 served as chair. Clark is a 2008 graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executive’s ACADEMY, a three year program on chamber management essentials designed for today’s chamber executives and staff professionals.
Clark is a lifelong resident of Southern California and resides in the Southbay.
