Yuca's Restaurants finds ways to successfully pivot amid COVID-19 Shutdown.

Yucca's Restaurants were approved for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds and Dora Herrera of Yuca's Restaurants has found unique ways to keep their business running while helping the community. They are,

• Working with Latino Restaurant Association to feed first responders at local hospitals. 
• Collaborating with Los Feliz Libraries and Los Feliz restaurant owners to provide lunch for our local Post Office workers.
• Signed up for the Great Plates initiative signed by Governor Newsom to feed our senior and home-bound citizens lunch and dinner. 
• Collaborating with the Pasadena Union Station Homeless Services to launch their meals program. 
• Helping the United Latinx Fund LA get the word out about their great work supporting other non-profits by doing live cooking demos on their Fireside Chat events on Zoom
