Hello friend --
L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline and TOMS Team Up for Giving Tuesday
Thank you to all who attended our Tech Community Day for #GivingTuesday with TOMS and West Los Angeles College (WLAC)! WLAC students participated in a few rounds of mock interviews and speed networking with TOMS volunteers. Experienced working professionals from various fields, including e-commerce, finance, graphic design, IT, marketing and legal, gave one-on-one advice on how to break into their respective industries and some best practices when it comes to interviewing. WLAC students were eager to learn as much as they could. We are always grateful to our partners willing to donate their time and expertise to guide the next generation of L.A. tech talent! See the photos and like/comment on our Instagram post.
Bixel Exchange Connects LACC and Riot Games
Our L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline team facilitated a Riot Games company tour and game design informational session for the Los Angeles City College (LACC) President and Vice President of Academic Affairs and Career Technical Education Deans. This convening of industry and education professionals provided education on the gaming industry, opportunities for collaboration and partnership and insights on how to prepare students for the workforce. We are happy to help spark new relationships and align goals!
