Hello friend --
Thank you to those who participated in our Titans of Talent event!
Bixel Exchange, in partnership with UNITE-LA, hosted the Titans of Talent employer recognition event on Sept. 17 to thank employers who have provided internships and jobs to youth from predominantly low-income and underrepresented communities. We are grateful to have employers who support us by connecting L.A. students to internships and job opportunities in the tech industry. It was outstanding hearing our students speak about their experiences working with our L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline program, and discussing how the program has helped them gain careers in the rapidly growing L.A. tech field. The event featured remarks from L.A. Area Chamber Board Chair Jerry Neuman and keynote speaker Oona King, Vice President, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Snap, Inc.
If you are an employer interested in taking on interns or sharing your insights and experiences with our students, let us know!
