The Los Angeles Regional Export Council (LARExC) hosted a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, including Liu Jiandong, Deputy Director-General of Jiangsu FAO, and James Dai, the Director of the Jiangsu Economic & Trade Office in the USA. The Biden-Harris Administration launched the first CHIPS for America funding opportunity on February 28. The program offers manufacturing incentives to restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing, support good-paying jobs across the supply chain, and advance U.S. economic and national security.
