Demystifying Global Trade Career Pathways & Resources - The World Trade Week Education Committee, chaired by Amy Grat, CEO of EXP, presented a session discussing global trade & supply chain career pathways to Southern California High school/College Educators and Career Counselors. Industry experts from Los Angeles World Airports, GlobalCareersHub, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, and the Employment Development Department shared various opportunities accessible to youth in their local communities. Following the panel discussion, educators were taken on a private tour of the Delta cargo hold.

With nearly 500 business leaders and members of the diplomatic corps in attendance, the Chamber launches the largest World Trade Week celebration of its kind in the country in observance of the month-long celebration of global trade. The Kickoff Breakfast is the first time in 2 years that it returns to an in-person format.

The World Trade Week Southern California Committee, in partnership with the Port of Los Angeles, hosted Southern California congressional legislative staff for an informational luncheon and boat tour of the Port of Los Angeles to learn about congestion issues and the impact/ importance of trade policy in our everyday lives.
